How do you eat your oatmeal?

When someone says oatmeal what is the first thing that comes to your mind? If you are anything like me you immediately thing healthy, then lumpy glumpy eeeekkkk! Well Quaker has changed this initial reaction to oatmeal for me with Quaker Oatmeal Squares.

Quaker has made oatmeal into a crunchy breakfast cereal that I am now adding to my breakfast routine. It comes in four wonderful varieties, Honey Nut (my favorite),Golden Maple, Brown Sugar, and Cinnamon. If you are looking for the Golden Maple variety, it is sold exclusively at Walmart at this time. You can feel great about starting your day with Quaker Oatmeal Squares because it is made with natural flavors and each serving has 6 grams of protein and 5 grams of dietary fiber!! If that is not enough to convince you it also provides 46 grams of whole grains per serving! WOWO!!!

Lets face it, you can have all the grains, protein and fiber in a cereal, but if it does not taste good, you aren't going to eat it right? Well, let me tell you, I ate two bowls for dinner the other night and if I could have fit more, i would have. I found this cereal so delicious I even converted my husband, who is strictly a Lucky Charms eater into eating Quaker Oatmeal Squares. I added strawberries for a bit of pizzazz and whala, he was on the road to eating a healthier breakfast.

I received a free box from BzzAgent to try out and spread the word about, but you are in luck because right now, Quaker is giving away a sample box of their Oatmeal Squares for you to try out before you buy. Now you have no excuse not to try it. Just friend them on Facebook here and request your free sample box to try out. I will make a bet that you will make a trip to the supermarket soon after to purchase a box in the variety of your choice. It is on my weekly shopping list from now on and I am happy knowing that I am on track to eating healthy.

Let me know how you like it!
