Ok so it should have read, meet the boy and the girl, but didn't sound as good. So without further ado meet the beefy boy Cooper. He is my rescue dog and what a good dog he is. He is a huge pure Saint Bernard that loves to snuggle, play and eat. Boy can he eat. I recently received a bag of Hills Science Diet Ideal Balance Grain Free dog food from BzzAgent and was anxious to try it out with Cooper. I typically try to feed him healthy and after speaking to my vet I was confident that Hill's science diet was a very good dog food for him. My vet said that most vets will recommend this food, especially for the bigger breeds to maintain a healthy weight and overall health. Chicken is the number one ingredient as opposed to most other dog foods where grains are the biggest ingredient. What I was most happy to hear was that there are no artificial preservatives or colors and that Hills Science Diet Grain Free is easier on digestion. Cooper is a naturally gassy dog so any food that is easier on digestion for him makes me happy.
I initially made the switch to Hill's Grain Free slowly mixing half and half and increasing the Hill's Grain Free a little more each day. He seems to love it, and scarfs it all up in record time. I have not noticed a difference in his skin or coat yet, but it has only been a little over a week since he is on full Hill's Science Diet Grain Free. To be an honest doting momma, I must say

that his coat was beautiful before changing his food, so any improvement would just be adding to his established beauty. :-)
Meet Crushy------------------------------------------->
Crush is a pure German Shepherd Dog. She is a lovie and not even a year old yet. She is my picky eater and will wait until you add a little something special into her bowl, or wait until something drops onto the floor before she will start eating her dog food. She is a bit overweight and the vet asked me to change her over to adult dog food to try to help control her weight. I switched her over to Hill's Science Diet Grain Free food also. Because the main ingredient is Chicken and not Corn like most other dog foods, she is getting the protein she needs without all the other fillers that could increase weight gain. There are a bunch of fruits and veggies that are in Hill's Science Diet Grain Free dog food, and to find out more of which fruits, veggies, grains and meats are good for your dogs health you can go here where they outline it all for you.
After a week of gradually adding more and more of her new SD Grain free food to her meals, Crushy still waits to see if we are gong to add anything "special" to her bowl, but I have noticed that she gives up easier with the Science Diet dog food and I am starting to notice her waist again. To see how your current dog or cat food stacks up to Hill's Science Diet you can go here.
